一、坚持使用英语，提高使用英语的能力
高考迫近，考生的主要时间应该用在什么上呢？应该用在大量的阅读和适当的写作练习上。高考试题，处处显示着对阅读能力的重视。不但是阅读理解题，就是完形填空、短文改错、单项填空也都是在读准的基础上才能做题。可以说，阅读不行就什么也不行。而阅读能力是靠自己练出来的，不是哪一个人能给你讲会的。因此，要每天坚持读3～4篇短文，有的文章要仔细看，一词一句都不漏过，有的则可泛泛一读，以便加快速度，提高阅读量。
