9.主动句“s. + v. + n. + to-inf” 中的动词,变成被动语态后,原来作宾补的to不定式成了主语的补足语:

有时候,谓语动词和不定式都用被动语态,这就是所谓双重被动式:

Only a handful of his many compositions was allowed to be pub-lished during his lifetime. 在他生前,他的许多作品中只有一小部分允许出版。
bear, beseech(恳求),cause, decide, get, hate, like, love, prefer, want, wish, trouble 等用于本句型时没有被动语态。
而calculate, think, say 用于本句型,只用被动语态:

believe, find , imagine 和suppose 主要用于被动语态:
The book was found to have been rewritten. 这书发现被改写过。
Students are not supposed to smoke in the classroom. 学生不允许在教室里抽烟。
10.在句型“s. + v. + n. +bare inf.”中的动词,有些可用于被动语态;变成被动语态后,原来作宾补的不带to的不定式,变成带to不定式作主语的补足语:
When an electric field is set up, all the free electrons will be made to move in one direction. 当建立起一个电场时,全部自由电子都会朝一个方向运动。
He was never heard to sing a song. 没有人听见过他唱歌。
The thief was seen to steal into the house. 有人看见那贼溜进房子里。
