第十七章 句子分析
17.1 概说
句子分析对英语学习非常有用。它可以检查你的学习效果，巩固你的学习成果，弥补你学习的不足，大大减少或避免学习的盲目性。它对理解复杂的长句尤其有效。
句子分析的方法有好几种，但最好采用对句子基本结构及其中的词、短语、从句一一分析说明的方法。但虚词如冠词、介词、连词、感叹词不做分析，连系动词亦然，短语从句一般也不做内部分析。如：
（1）One must do one’s duty. 人应尽其责。
①全句基本结构是主语+谓语+宾语。
②one是代词，用作主语。
③must do是动词短语，用作谓语。
④one’s duty是名词短语，用作宾语。
