On the beach they found a man. He was drawing a picture of two fishermen, they were working on their boat.
“Hello, Uncle Dot.” Tippity said. Then Tippity introduced Margaret and her mother to Uncle Dot and showed him Margaret’s drawing.
“Well, this is nice!”Uncle Dot looked at the drawing and said, “I like the picture. I like all the flowers, and that’s a very cheerful① sun in the sky. Art is very interesting, isn’t it?”
“Look here,” said Uncle Dot. “Please sit down and draw with me for a while.”
Margaret’s mother said,“Oh, I can’t draw well at all. I’ll watch.”
“Nonsense!” said Tippity. “Of course you can.”
Margaret chose② crayon③ and her mother chose some coloured chalk. Soon everyone was busy drawing and painting.（待续）
